Acceptable Use Policy

The short list of things you must not do with Nibvine. It applies to you and to every tool, bot and agent you connect.

1. Scope

This policy is part of the Terms of Service. It applies to the web app, the REST API, the MCP server and every integration you connect. You are responsible for the behaviour of any agent acting with a token you issued.

2. What you must not do

  • Break the law, or help someone else break it.
  • Store or transmit material you have no right to store, including infringing content and stolen credentials or data.
  • Store special-category personal data — health, biometric, precise location of identifiable people — without a lawful basis and the safeguards it requires.
  • Attack the Service or anything else: scanning, brute force, denial of service, or attempting to reach another tenant’s data.
  • Circumvent scopes, rate limits, quotas or billing, or share a token in order to resell access.
  • Use the AI features to generate material that sexually exploits children, incites violence, harasses a person, or facilitates weapons, malware or large-scale fraud.
  • Run automated traffic that degrades the Service for other people, or operate a crawler that ignores our rate limits.
  • Use the Service to send unsolicited bulk messages through a connected integration.
  • Misrepresent AI-generated output as reviewed human advice in a professional context where that matters — medical, legal or financial.

3. Running agents responsibly

Automated clients are a first-class way to use Nibvine, and they carry a first-class duty of care.

  • Give each token the narrowest scope and, where you can, restrict it to a single project.
  • Keep a human in the loop for destructive operations. Writes go through preview and commit for exactly this reason.
  • Do not use an agent to bulk-export other people’s data from projects shared with you.
  • Rotate tokens on a schedule and revoke ones you no longer use.

4. Enforcement

Where we find a breach we may throttle, suspend or terminate access, remove offending material, and where the law requires it report the matter. We aim to warn first and act proportionately, but severe or urgent cases — an active attack, or content that endangers someone — get immediate action.

5. Reporting abuse

Report abusive content or behaviour to legal@nibvine.com, and security problems to security@nibvine.com. Include links, timestamps and enough detail to reproduce what you saw.
